How Your Support Is Used

Last updated: April 2026

WaveWorks Ocean Conservation is an independent marine and coastal conservation project focused on hands-on environmental action.

This page explains how donations are used and what your support helps make possible.

Our Approach

WaveWorks Ocean Conservation is built on practical, on-the-ground activity. This includes participating in organised beach clean-ups, supporting coastal conservation efforts. and documenting environmental impact.

We are committed to transparency, simplicity, and using support responsibly.

How Donations Are Used

Donations are used to support the running of conservation activities, including:

. Travel costs to coastal locations (fuel and transport)

. Participation in organised clean-up and conservation events

. Basic operational costs related to fieldwork and project activity

. Content creation and documentation, helping raise awareness of marine conservation issues

All funds are used to support the continuation and growth of environmental work.

Current Stage

WaveWorks Ocean Conservation is in its early stages and is currently operated indepentently.

At this stage:

. Donations are used to cover costs, not generate a profit

. No salary is being taken from donations

. The focus is on building consistent, real-world conservation activity

Transparency

We aim to be open about how support is used.

Where possible, updates will be shared through:

. Social media

. project posts and updates

. Before and after documentation of conservation work

This allows supporters to see the real-world impact of their contributions.

Donations

Donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless requested by law.

If you have any questions about how donations are used, please feel free to get in touch.
